Deacon Art was born and raised in Tomah, WI. He is an only child. He attended Holy Name Seminary High School in Madison, WI. He attended WWTC and studied Wood Technics. He is a self-employed carpenter who does remodeling and woodworking projects.
Kathy was born in Tomah and raised in New Lisbon, WI. She has a younger sister and brother. She graduated from the University of LaCrosse with a degree in Recreation Administration. She is presently employed at Associated Bank.
We met at Immaculate Conception Parish in Tomah while decorating for Christmas. Our marriage was witnessed by Fr. Dan Kozlowski in April of 1988. Deacon Art was ordained a permanent deacon in December of 1999 by Bishop Burke. Since we were not able to have children, we moved to Stevens Point in 1994 to spoil our 3 nephews. Our hobbies include gardening, plastic canvas, and bird watching. A couple of our favorite devotions are the rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Eucharistic Adoration. We ask God to send his blessing upon the parish family of St. Stephen as we work together in building His kingdom here on earth.
