MEET RICK GIESE

Director of Religious Education

I am a homegrown parishioner
who attended eight years of grade school at St. Stephen
and graduated from Pacelli High School, class of '63.

I did my basic in the Christian Brothers Novitiate (Winona, MN) 1963-64
and have been serving in the ranks in our parish in one way or another ever since.

UW-SP graduate, BA Sociology/Psychology 1974

Commissioned Diocesan Leader of Prayer 1987

Completed Diocesan Lay Ministry 2001

Diocesan School of Biblical Study Graduate 2003

I am the sole caregiver of three feline companions,
Rocky, Emmy, and Snickers,
who are about to charge me rent for sleeping in "their" house.

To the sense of humor of Thomas More
and the appetite of Thomas Aquinas,
I aspire.

By reason of my Baptism
I am a disciple of Jesus Christ,
confirmed to proclaim His Good News.
